I have a story over at Micromance Magazine today!
In "How Do You Spell Romance?" middle school English teacher Ellen McNamara is conducting spelling bee practice after school when the microphone dies suddenly. She summons the new IT guy, only to discover that he is Andrew Nash, her own long-lost middle school crush.
Fun fact: when I was in 7th grade, I won the school spelling bee by correctly spelling "pirouette" and "sousaphone," then got out in the first round of the regional bee by spelling "colic" with a CH.
This is the first of three publications I have coming out this week.
The Bennetts Bloom, my novel in flash, releases on Tuesday!
Recipes for Romance, which includes my story “Batter Together” releases from And You Press, an imprint of Nicole Frail Books, on Friday.
Congrats Katie! What an exciting week!
So excited for all of these releases!
