Batter Together, plus a Micromance story
Batter Together Release Day
Batter Together, my new short story romance starring a single mom and her baker neighbor, is available now! The original version appeared in Recipes for Romance earlier this year, but this is an edited stand-alone edition. It’s in the 45-minute romance category on Amazon, making it the perfect quick read for a lunch break, commute, naptime, or other little snippet of time throughout the day.
Here’s a bit more about the story:
Single mom Kaitlyn is all set for her daughter Natalie's spring chorus concert—until she learns at the last minute that she's supposed to bring several dozen brownies for the bake sale that will be set up in the lobby during the concert.
Natalie suggests enlisting the aid of their neighbor, Eric, who owns a bakery. But . . . things have been awkward for Eric and Kaitlyn after a failed love connection last fall. The last thing Kaitlyn wants to do is ask him for a giant favor right now. But she can't disappoint Natalie.
With hope for a second chance at romance, Kaitlyn brings Eric her problem . . . and her heart.
Batter Together is on Amazon and in Kindle Unlimited.
My latest at Micromance
Today also happens to be a Micromance day for me! My story, “To Have Lost” is told entirely in text messages, and it follows college students Ryan and Charlotte as they sort out the consequences of their fake relationship, which got them disqualified from a campus-wide dating competition.
Read it, (and like and comment, please!) on Micromance Magazine’s Substack.
