Kick off the new year with Dragon Bone Journal!

Today is release day for Dragon Bone Journal 2025, which includes my flash romance, “The Turn of the Tide.”

This is one of my favorite pieces that I have ever written, and I hope to get my hands on a copy of the journal soon so I can see it in print.

“The Turn of the Tide” is a banter-filled sweet romance involving a convenience store, a rainstorm, an acknowledgment of a mistake, and a second chance.

Here's how it begins:
"Kent was restocking the soda coolers at the back of Convenience Mart on Saturday night when Lucy stepped through the front door in a long green gown, dripping from head to toe. He was still smarting from what she’d said to him last week. What did she mean, she had to see how things went with Brian before she could make any commitments? He stifled a smirk. It seemed that karma had moved swiftly, at least."
